Teacher Policy

• Payment is due in advance for each month, by the 5th of the month, or brought to the first lesson of the month. If you forget to bring the check, you can mail it. A $20 late fee will be added if tuition is not paid on time.
• Missed lessons:

  Excused lessons are ONLY school vacations, religious and national holidays.

  The teacher is not obligated to make-up lessons or classes due to student non-attendance, illness, vacation, etc...

  In emergency situations, special arrangements will be made.

  Teacher absences for any reason will be made-up as soon as possible, or tuition refunded.

  Group lessons MUST be attended as a part of the program. There are no refunds or make-ups for Groups.

• Snow Policy: In cases of extreme weather where the roads are completely impassable (Fairfax County snow days) lessons will be made up or refunded.
• Group Lesson payments will be by semester, either in full, or in two installments: due in September at the 1^st Group lesson, and the 2^nd payment on November 15^th.
• There will be no tuition adjustments for any given month if you withdraw in the middle of the month. Additionally, you must give notice of at least 15 days before the next calendar month, or you will be billed for the following month as well.

• In order to hold their fall lesson slot, students are required to take a minimum of 5 lessons over the summer. If you wish to discontinue lessons over the summer and resume in the fall, you will have the option of paying a fee equal to 5 lessons to hold your fall slot.

  3 lessons are required in June. There is a minimum of 2 lessons for July and August.
